Pole dancer and teacher since 2002; Annemarie "AM" Davies aka The Queen Of Sexy, was on the forefront of establishing the pole community. AM started dancing in Los Angeles strip clubs in 2002. Four years later, in 2006, won the title of Spearmint Rhino’s Entertainer Of The Year. She danced at Jumbo’s Clown Room for over eleven year, founded United Pole Artists in 2009, worked with a team to build Soldiers of Pole and is now the host of her own podcast, “Yes, A Stripper Podcast”. AM has recently become a below the knee amputee and is learning to dance again as a disabled person. But losing part of her leg has not slowed her down one bit. She now spends the majority of her time working as an activist and advocating for marginalized folx in her intersecting and surrounding communities.
